Question: Who raised Jesus from the dead since He said "I lay down my life, that I might take it again" in John 10:17? Did He resurrect Himself, did a "Father, Son, and Spirit" resurrect Him, or was it His Father (YHWH) that resurrected Jesus from the grave? 

Answer: It was the God and Father of Jesus who resurrected Him! Here are 23 verses that show this...

2. Ephesians 1:17, 19, 20 ...God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory... (19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, (20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead,

3. 2 Corinthians 4:14 He [the Father] which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus 

4. Romans 6:4 ... Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father...

5. Acts 2:22, 24 ...Jesus of Nazareth... Whom God has raised up having loosed the pains of death 

6. Acts 2:32 This Jesus has God raised up

7. Acts 3:15 ... the Prince of life whom God has raised from the dead 

8. Acts 3:26 God (the Father), having raised up his Son Jesus…

9. Acts 4:10 ... Jesus Christ…whom God raised from the dead…

10. Acts 5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus…

23. Romans 10:9 ... if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God (YHWH) hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 

Belief in the Father (YHWH) raising Jesus is critical to our salvation.
